The Hybrid model comes with a 3.3-liter V-6 engine and an electric motor which, when combined, makes 318 horsepower. Rear-wheel drive is standard, all-wheel drive is optional, and 10-speed automatic transmission is standard across the board.   


To keep the occupants of the vehicle entertained, the 2022 Explorer comes with an an8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is standard. This unit includes Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ capability and Wi-Fi hotspots. The infotainment system is attractive and responsive.
